A twenty-five year old customer and her twenty-seven year old brother-in-law were denied service when attempting to purchase a bottle of Jack Daniel's Barbecue Sauce from a supermarket chain in England. The store claims the woman didn't have identification showing her age and they were concerned that her brother-in-law who did have ID was just going to give her the bottle after the purchase. The sauce in question has approximately 2% alcohol per bottle but 2 tablespoons contain 50 calories, 290mg Sodium, 13g Carbohydrate, and 10 grams sugar. The store should have been more concerned with her caloric intake than the alcohol level.
