Kentucky BourbonQ, thought it funny to create and market a sauce to challenge the swift rise of Chinese imports. In jest, he named the sauce “Pappy’s Not Made In China”. To his surprise, although consistent with Southern extremist pride, the sauces have been flying off the shelf as a protest against China. To make matters worse, the labeling of the sauce includes the phrase, “barbecue sauce without the lead paint”. After the successful launch of this sauce, BourbonQ is now looking to other stereotypes they can exploit.
